Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time : 12-15 minutes
Servings : 2

For Poha Mixture
1 cup Pressed Rice (पोहा)
⅓ cup Water (पानी)
1 cup Curd (दही)

For Rava Mixture
1 cup Semolina (रवा)
⅓ cup Water (पानी)
1 cup Curd (दही)

For Tempering
2 tbsp Oil (तेल)
1 tsp Mustard Seeds (सरसों के बीज)
1 inch Ginger – chopped (अदरक)
2-3 fresh Green Chillies – chopped (हरी मिर्च)
1 sprig Curry Leaves (कड़ी पत्ता)

Other Ingredients
Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार)
1 tsp Fruit Salt (फ्रूट साॅल्ट)
1 tbsp Oil (तेल)

For Poha Mixture
In a bowl add pressed rice, water, curd and mix everything properly and keep aside for 15-20 minutes

For Rava Mixture
In a bowl add semolina, water, curd and mix everything properly and keep aside for 15-20 minutes.

For Tempering
In a small pan heat oil and add mustard seeds, ginger, green chillies, curry leaves saute for half a minute and keep aside for further use.

For Assembling Poha Idli
Firstly with the help of your hand mix the soaked poha mixture vigorously until mashy.
Now in a bigger bowl mix rava mixture, poha mixture, salt, tempering and mix properly.
Meanwhile, place the steamer on high flames.
Then in the poha batter add the mixture of oil, fruit salt and mix it with light hands.
Now grease the idli mould with oil and add a big spoonful of batter and then place the mould in the steamer and steam it for 12-15 minutes.
Remove and let it cool a little and serve hot with chutney.
